Small Goniatite Ammonite Fossil

This is a beautiful polished goniatite, a close relative to the ammonite.  Similar to the nautilus, these creatures had a shell that was divided into chambers. This piece is about 1.75" tall and 5/8" thick and weighs 42gs. This piece is free standing. You will receive the ammonite in the photograph.
